From their small studio at chapman-sculptures.com Worcester England, Jenny and John Chapman create their 'sculptures'. They are a two person team, Jenny sculpting and painting the original designs, and John mould-making and casting the pieces. All the sculptures are cast in fine sculptors' marble-like resin, which lends itself perfectly for obtaining a very life-like finish. Jenny and John have worked together in their own business since 1984, prior to that they had gained experience from working for Royal Worcester Porcelain, where they both worked as artists, Boehm of Malvern. And Albany Fine China. A partnership was struck with Border Fine Arts back in 1986 where they created beautiful fine bone china limited editions and gained knowledge of manufacturing in resin. The partnership lasted four years and after that Jenny and John formed their present small studio in Worcester where they carry on building up their fantastic and lifelike collection .
Any of the sculptures shown here can be painted to special order to 'look like yours'! All we need is for you to email or post appropriate pictures. Most of the time there will not be an additional charge, but there might be a small extra charge if the special painting is complex.
